Excel Import & Export

If you want to make changes in your data in bulk or add products in bulk, you can use Excel Import & Export.

Excel Import

  1. Select the required Brand and click on Import/Export.
  2. Click Import (If you want to get a PDM template, configure one product in the tool and export that product to get the template, then fill the new data into the template).
  3. Select Excel (Full) Format
  4. Choose the required Segments to import the excel.
  5. Click the Upload Excel button or Drag and Drop the excel to import.


In order for the import to work, you should always provide the Brand Code of the brand that you are working in.

You will find this code by hovering over the Brand name:



This Brand code belongs to the Brand column in the excel file:


 When you are ready making changes, save the file and re-import by selecting just the Applications segment.

      6. Click Import Reports. Every import is listed, and whether it failed or was successful. Errors that may have occurred are displayed and can be downloaded by clicking on the Actions column Download icon. Click on the Errors icon to get more details.

Excel Export

From the Import/Export Menu.

  1. Select the required Brand and click on Import/Export.
  2. Click Export.
  3. Select a Parts option and a Database.



      4. Select Excel (Full) format.
          


      5. Configure the Formatting options.
      6. Click Export.
      7. Toggle the switch to display the Advanced Export Options.


          
      8. Click Export Reports, All exports that have been made are listed here.
 


From the Catalog

  1. Select the required Brand and click on All Products, then select a Product.
  2. In the Actions column, Click Export and select Excel (Full).


      3. Configure the Formatting options and click Export.



Export Application Data

There are two ways to Export your application data. 

1. Use the Applications style. 
2. Use the Flat Applications style.
