Application Segment - Group ID

Group ID is a numerical value used to manage fitment data in the application segment. It is used to group multiple pieces of information to one application, such as notes, qualifiers, or discontinuous year ranges. Fitments with identical Group IDs are presented in one tile in Tile View. Group ID values for the application segment are also exportable to Excel.

Multiple Notes and Qualifiers

The application below has multiple notes and qualifiers. When exported to Excel, there is a separate entry for each qualifier and note but they all share a common Group ID.

Gap in Year Range

The application below has a gap in the year range. When exported to Excel, there is a separate entry for the years before the gap (1964 - 1973) and after (1979 - 2017). Both entries share a common Group ID.

It is important to retain Group ID values in excel. If deleted, every piece or grouped information will be displayed as a separate tile.
