Adding New Sub Configurations and Assigning to Vehicles
- Select a Brand and click All Products.
- Click in the Application segment and select a product from the catalog.
- Click
on the Add New Application button.
4. A
new window pops up. Click on the Edit
VCdb button.
5. Select a Custom Vehicle Table from
the right side dropdown to write new entries to that table. Select a value for each required field (Make, Model, Year, Sub-model, and
Region).
6. Choose a sub-configuration to edit in the left panel.
7. Select values for the sub configuration and click the Link
to vehicle button. Click on the Save button.
To create a new ID you have
to select one value from each table without a selected value, U/K is the default
Press F5 to refresh the page. Saved changes only appear after a refresh. You may have to re-navigate to the Edit VCdb window
8. Now
the sub configuration is linked to the vehicle.
9. Back in the Application Edit window, make sure your Custom Vehicle Table is selected. Then select a vehicle (choose the 5 values) to make sure the new sub-configuration is mapped to the vehicle. Click on the Save button
