Using Tags

Tags are one way to group your products

Applying a Tag

There are two ways to apply a tag or many tags to your products. The first being within the PDM platform:
  1. Select the product(s) you want to tag from the catalog
  2. Click on Tag above the catalog
  3. Type the name of the tag
  4. Click on Tag from the list
You can also apply the existing tag from the list for your product(s).

The second way to add tags is via an import. 
1. Export all Items
2. Add tags to the "Tags" column
  1. You can add multiple tags by placing a semicolon ";" between each tag.
3. Reimport the Items segment

Filtering the Products Using Tag

Tags can be used to filter and can also be applied to exports
  1. Type the name of the tag in the search box
  2. Choose the tag from the list to apply filter
      3. Now filtered tag related products will be displayed
      4. Click on small "x" to reset the applied filter

Removing Tag from the Product

  1. Select the product to remove the tag 
  2. Click on Tag above the catalog
  3. Click on small "x" in the upper right-hand corner of the tag name to remove the tag from the product

Removing Tag from Multiple Products

This works in two ways. Removing within the PDM platform and removing via import
  1. Filter by the desired tag you want to remove from the products
  2. Select all the filtered products from the catalog
  3. Click on Tag above the catalog
  4. Click the small "x" in the upper right-hand corner of the tag name to remove the tag from all the filtered products

The second way to remove tags is via an import.
1. Export Items
2. Remove content in the Tags column
3. Reimport Items segment
