Engine Base Quick Fix

Engine Base is a collection of nine interdependent values: Block Type, Cylinder, Liter and imperial/metric values for Bore, Cubic, Stroke. If an Engine Base is updated automatically by Auto Care VCdb, fitments can be broken. Engine Base Quick Fix allows you to quickly see fitments broken by these updates and make appropriate changes.

Fix Updated Engine Base

  1. Select a Brand and click Quick Fixes
  2. Choose Engine Base (the red number indicated number of pending recommendations). Updated engine base information is displayed.
  3. In this example, the Chrysler PT Cruiser bore value has been updated by Auto Care VCdb. Click the checkboxes the Confirm button to associate the updated engine base with the product application.
  4. To ignore the new update, click the Decline button
