New Engine / New Transmission Quick Fix

This feature looks at the entire catalog to see if any vehicles have the same engine or transmission as vehicles already mapped to product applications.

1. The New Engine tab shows the number of products with potential additional application coverage based on the engine configuration.

2. The New Transmission tab shows the number of products with potential additional application coverage based on the transmission configuration.

Both show the Product to which applications would be added and the Engine/Transmission configuration for which additional application coverage is possible.

Hover over the More Vehicles available text box to view full engine parameters as shown. The suggestions are generated based on applications, so you may see the same products multiple times.

3. Check boxes to Confirm or Decline All suggested applications.

4. The top check box displays the total number of new vehicles to be added based on that Engine/Transmission configuration. Checking this box will select ALL vehicle suggestions for that application, which is useful when the number of vehicles is large.

After confirmation, you can edit the application for each vehicle.

When applying these Quick Fixes, PDM will offer suggestions for other applications that exactly match the configuration, and you may also receive additional Engine/Transmission results. This workflow prevents your data from overlapping.

5. After confirming a new fitment, you always have the option to Edit the new application.
