How to delete ParentDigitalAssets via Export/Import

Parent Digital Assets

Parent Digital Assets are all the Digital Assets used across your brands. You can see the full list by going to Company/Digital Assets.

If you are no longer using one or more digital assets within your brand, you can export this list, mark any digital assets you wish to remove, and then reimport.

Exporting from the Import/Export Menu

  1. Select a Brand and click Import/Export.
  2. Click Export in the submenu.
  3. Click All Parts and choose a Database.

      4. Select Excel (Full) format.

      5. Select the Parent Digital Assets segment.
      6. Click Export.

      7. Once the export is complete, enter 'true',  'yes', or '1' into the Delete column for the Parent Digital Assets you wish to remove entirely.

The import logic in this process is case-sensitive, and it will only consider lowercase values for these three options.

      8. Save the file and Re-import it into Parent Digital Assets.

      9. Navigate back to the Digital Assets page under Company, and you will no longer see the Parent Digital Assets that you listed for deletion.
